FIN CH Bawabu Sharufa Siaju, "Rufa"

Rufa is lovely brown nosed boy of dark red wheaten colour and amber eyes. He has excellent dark brown pigmentation. He lives with Niina and Ari Vilhonen in Turku. Rufa has canine little brother Ruben to play with. Rufa´s name is Swahili and means "efficient hunter". The name suits the lad well as he is a very keen lure courser and I am sure will also make his mark in oval track coursing.

Rufa is not very tall dog - just 66 cm at withers but there is no mistaking his sex. He has lovely sturdy balanced conformation with suitable substance. He has lovely temperament - kind, happy and alert boy with a twinkle in his eye. He has been Mentality Tested in September 2005 by Mrs. Babro Börjesson (S) with approved result and is gunshot proof. The MT -judge´s quote was that Rufa has the ultimate RR temperament. Rufa has been scored free of hip dysplasia with A/A hips and has also clear 0/0 elbows and shoulders (OCD). He is also free of blue dilute gene. Rufa has been a very healthy dog through-out his life.

Nina and Ari have done very good job with Rufa. They have been active in obedience, done some basics in agility not forgetting lure coursing. Rufa has also been occationally shown and he holds Finnish Conformation Champion title.

Rufa has sired a litter a Sweden, dam of the litter is Sv CH Rex Ventors Genova - Kennel Stardust - Nova gave birth to a healthy litter of 9 pups on the 31.5.2006. All show ridged, no kink tails or DS were detected. Rufa´s 2nd, also a very nice litter of 6 pups, was born in Denmark 8.1.2008 at Kennel Kuzonga to UPH, LP1 Kuzonga´s Bayana J´Adore - Sjalle.
